Coach's Comments
I had a wonderful time coaching Mia this Sunday. She is a hard worker and a natural shot-stopper. Mia puts herself in great positions to make saves and often makes saves she probably shouldn't. She is very coachable and wants to learn. I am excited to see her continue to improve and grow as a player
Keep working on explosiveness - Often times you would only take a single step or sometimes not even one before making a diving effort. Stay light on your toes and move across the ground longer before exploding into your save.
Wider stance and arms to help catching - As we spoke about yesterday, try and make yourself larger in the goal, and don't narrow your stance as shots are coming in. This will help with catching the ball and not giving up rebounds.
Stay vocal to help with organization - Help your teammates by looking over your shoulder at oncoming traffic more often and help your team get organized and marked with your voice more
