Coach's Comments
Zoey showed she had great physical attributes with her speed, power and strength. She utilized these areas well to be able to create goal scoring opportunities. She was a handful for defenders to track within the games.
Ball Control: - As a forward playing back to goal is very important. The challenge is to soak up the ball under pressure and connect with teammates underneath while absorbing the contact from defenders.
Defensive understanding: - Continue to transition immediately when the ball is lost in the final third. Counter press the defender and pressure the ball high up to stop the opposition from getting out and also for gaining possession back closer to goal
Vertical leap: - There were not many times Zoey showed her dominance in the air, especially on set pieces. It is a great trait to have and master as a forward!
