Coach's Comments
Kaelie was a pleasure to work with at camp, and was able to integrate in with the other players quickly. Her ability to transition from attacking to defending and defending to attacking is one of her strongest suits. She is still young and has the time to develop further as she competes in her two final years prior to college.
Improve strength - As you evolve into a college player, the way you treat your body is pivotal to success. Getting familiar with a gym and recovery techniques will be important to start now.
Improve decisions when you transition - In training and playing environments, be conscious of what is needed from you when your team loses the ball or wins the ball. Oftentimes our shape needs to drastically change when this happens, and the quicker you can do it the better.
Improve knowledge of the game - There is an array of resources out there for young players, whether it be collegiate games in the fall, NWSL from May to November, or the WSL from November to May. Top level professional matches in the women's game are available to watch online on television. Watching the top players in your given sport is always a great way to rest your body and still develop.
