Coach's Comments
It was great having Elyse at the camp, she has a great attitude all day and worked hard in every game. Her knowledge of when to go up and support attacking players was great, she was dangerous in many of the games which is what many schools are looking for. As a 2022, we would love to chat with you at Soka, and I think you can find a home in either the GSAC or CAL PAC conferences.
shooting - Developing a great shot it key, focusing on various distances and techniques that will give you versatility as a defensive player that likes to get into the box.
speed of thought - Anticipating the play and thinking 2-3 steps ahead is key to keeping possession and setting yourself up to play quickly, this can always improve in all players.
strength - Becoming a physically stronger player will allow you to hold the ball better, and give you more leverage when going in for a 50/50. As players become college age and in the last years in the recruiting process, coaches really look for other components of the game that players can add to their play, this would give you a large advantage.
