Coach's Comments
He was a pleasure to work with at camp. He showed versatility and a sense of comfort by playing on both sides of the field and never caused a fuss, instead asked what he could improve upon when going back into the game. He defends very well and often was able to stop the opposing winger from getting in good spots on the field. As a '24 grad, he has plenty of time to continue to develop his game and continue to grow into an all around player with his work ethic and coachability.
Continue to develop technical skills with ball at feet. - Continuing to develop your skills with the ball at your feet will help you and your team connect going forward and also make you a dangerous threat in the attacking third when creating overloads
Communicating with teammates - Continue to develop a voice on the field. Talking on the field helps pass along messages which keeps defenses organized.
Explosiveness in 1v1 battles - As you mature and grow into the game, it is important to work on explosiveness out of change of direction moments. Whether it be attacking or defending, it is important to have that quicker first step to either win the ball from attacking player or to get by the opposing defender when on ball.
