Coach's Comments
Caleb was a pleasure to work with throughout the day with his communication, team first focus, and HIgh basketball IQ. Caleb was always talking, encouraging his teammates, and fit into his team like a glove. On the floor Caleb was a dangerous shooter in every 5 on 5 game, continuously hitting shots from well outside the 3 pt line, and shooting with as much confidence as anyone in the camp. He has a knack around the rim with scoop layups, and using his IQ to find ways to score inside as well.
Coaches play guys who defend first, and that must be a priority for you. - While you are an excellent shooter, at the college level, guys who defend find their way onto the floor. You will need to develop a better mindset and intensity toward the defensive side of the ball to make the necessary improvements here.
Work hard in the weight room and on foot work to improve athleticism. - The college level is a very physical brand of basketball. Improving your physicality and your footspeed/agility must be a focus as you work to being a high level player.
Work on bringing a competitive fire to every game situation. - Most guys who find their way onto college rosters have a unique competitiveness to them and a fire every time they play. Finding that chip on your shoulder to demand the most of yourself and compete with the guy across from you in an uncomfortable way can be the difference maker!
