Coach's Comments
Emma has great size as a setter and can set a very solid block. She has the ability to swing as well making her very versatile. She has only run a 5-1 in the past but when we moved her into a 6-2 satiation she handled it very well. She can really hit the ball. Really nice hands even off balance she could still handle the ball well. Something she could work on would be foot speed but feel her speed will increase with time. Has a very nice jump float serve as well.
Work on speed - Speed is vital to a setter. You want to be confident chasing balls down.
Continue to work on hitting - You have the ability to hit! Allow this skill to be showcased in someway. This makes you such a versatile player.
Work on quick sets - You wan to run the middle and feel comfortable as a setter running quicks even if the middles are not very solid.
