Coach's Comments |
Alyssa was very enjoyable to coach. She works hard, is coachable (does what you ask of her) and is a good positive force on and off the field. She is good on the ball, and as a 2021 grad, she has time to develop and grow as a solid college player. |
Work on speed of play - As a future college player, your ability to play quick, will be extremely beneficial. Having an awareness of your surroundings (by constantly keeping your head on a swivel) will help you see potential options of what to do with the ball before you even get it. |
Work on getting your shot off - As a forward, the ability to get your shot off and score goals is key, especially in the college game. Working on shooting from a variety of positions on the field, and getting a solid striking technique to gain the confidence to get a shot off. |
Confidence - Having the confidence to take on a defender one v. one in the attacking third is what college coaches want to see from their forwards. Confidence is needed to take chances in the final third, such as getting your shot off. |
