Chrisselle Reyes

Lindsey Veersma is in her 4th season as the head women's volleyball coach at Bard College in 2025. During the 2024 season, Veersma coached three Raptors named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team and three named to the CSC Div. III All-District Team.   During the 2023 season, Veersma coached the Raptors to its first double-digit wins in a season since 2015. Nine Raptors were named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team and four Raptors were named to the 2023 Division III Academic All-District Team. Veersma helped senior Adi David, and Ryan Lum etch their names in the schools record book (David is 3rd all-time in career assists, Lum is 3rd all-time in kills, and digs, and fourth all-time in aces). During the summer, the women's team was recognized with the AVCA Team Academic Award, including the team earning AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll distinction, which recognizes the top 20% of the team based on GPAs national by division.  In her first season at the helm, Veersma helped Bard have its best conference season ever, defeating Union and St. Lawrence, which has never been done in school history. Veersma coached Ryan Lum, who was later recognized as an All-Liberty League Honorable Mention for the second consecutive year. Eight Raptors were named to the Liberty League All-Academic Team.  Lindsey Veersma arrived at Bard in August of 2022 from Centre College in Danville, Ky., where she was an assistant coach as the Colonels went from 2-10 in 2020 to 17-9 in 2021. Before Centre, Veersma was the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Franklin College in Franklin, Ind., where she helped the Grizzlies put together their best conference record since 2002, with five players earning all-league honors and one named Defensive Player of the Year. Veersma additionally coached at 2 of the top club programs in the nation, including The Academy VBC Indianapolis and Lexington United VBC during her time as an assistant.  Veersma has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in Management with a concentration in Sports Administration from Robert Morris University.

My name is Katie Kidwell and I am the new Assistant Coach at Ohio Northern University. I started my college career in 2017 at Bowling Green State University and ended my career in 2022. The position I played in college was a middle blocker. During Covid-19, they allowed me to come back to play for 5th season. I was so grateful for that opportunity to get a chance to do what I love again, and to have one more year with the team/coaches. I knew that I wanted to guide and influence young individuals to achieve their goals within the sport which lead me to college coaching. With Volleyball being my passion, I am so grateful to be apart of a team and an amazing program.  Back story:  I am originally from Watseka, IL which is where I started my Volleyball career initially.  Come my sophomore year of high school, I got the opportunity to play club which allowed me to be opened up to many opportunities. I played Club for a team called Impulse which was based out of Manteno, IL. My high school coach had a signifiant amount of influence on my career through high school as well as my club coaches. I am blessed it lead me to Ohio where I got to experience the greatest years of my life.  Thank you and looking forward to meeting you!

Born and raised in the south of Puerto Rico and played volleyball for a total of 15 years. I'm heading into my third year as an Assistant Coach at Cedar Crest College. Before becoming an assistant coach I played at the JUCO and D1 level.   As an Assistant Coach I had the privilege to lead the volleyball program to its second conference championship in school history and second appearance in the NCAA tournament. Under my training, six athletes earned all-conference selections. In addition taking home two big tittles, CSAC Defensive player of the year and CSAC Rookie of the year. The volleyball program has earned a team GPA of 3.61 since my start here at the Crest. At the same time, I am currently working on a Masters of Science in Integrative Exercise Science here at Cedar Crest College. Looking back at my college career as an athlete, I started my college career at Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida. Where I graduated with an Associate of Arts in May of  2020. I was member of the women's volleyball team from 2018-2020. I completed my playing career at Alcorn State University in the fall of 2021 and graduated with Bachelor of Biology in Pre-Physical Therapy in the Summer of 2022. I was a member of the women's volleyball team at Alcorn State from 2020-2021. I was also a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (Alcorn Chapter) and Student Athlete Advisory Committee member.

I am the assistant volleyball coach at Loras College an NCAA Division III University located in Dubuque, Iowa.

30 years coaching experience at the club, high school, collegiate level, and AVP tour.  2021 CIF Southern Section Champions at Torrance High School, Torrance CA - CIF player of the year.  2023 WHAC Assistant Coach of the Year.

Gabrielle (Gabby) Bennett is in her first season as Illinois Tech Assistant Womens Volleyball Coach in 2023-2024. She has spent the previous three years coaching at the club level at Michio Chicago Volleyball Academy and completed coaching her first high school season as the Junior Varsity Coach at Oak Lawn Community High School in 2022.  Prior to her coaching days, Bennett graduated from Wesleyan University, in Middletown, CT where she studied Psychology, Classics, and Education Studies. She was a starter for the Cardinals as a Middle Blocker and earned Conference Player of the Week honors in 2016. That year, she helped lead her team to their first NESCAC (New England Small Conference Athletic Conference) Tournament appearance in over 25 years, in 2017, their first NESCAC Tournament win in program history, in 2018 she accompanied the team on their first Regional Championship win and NCAA DIII Elite 8 appearance, and 2019 helped lead them to a Regional Tournament run. Throughout her career, she was a varsity starter and leader in both conference blocking and hitting percentage statistics. Bennett grew up on the south side of Chicago, Illinois and attended St. Ignatius College Prep for High School where she played volleyball and was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2015.

Coach McEleney is completing his second year as the Women's Volleyball Coach at Malcolm X College. Prior to coming to Malcolm, Coach McEleney was coaching at Prosser High School for over 20 years.
