Coach's Comments
Great attitude and a pleasure to work with at camp. Alison brings energy to every session. Her knowledge of the game and work ethic stand out. Her awareness on the field and technical skills help her create opportunities for teammates. As a 2024 grad, she still has time to develop physically and has the potential to become and elite player. She has a bright soccer career ahead of her.
Ball Control - Ball control is something I feel every player can improve on. College soccer demands it even more than club soccer, as a lot of times the ball is played in the air a lot. The more confident you are dealing with those balls the more success you will have.
Speed - The college game you will find yourself competing against 20+ year old women. Being quick and first to the ball will help, as well as being able to play quick as you won't have a lot of time.
Reading the Game - This for me is probably the most important. If you are a good reader of the game, you can make up for other areas that need improving. Continue to be a student of the game and really learn the roles and responsibilities needed in your position.
