Coach's Comments
Nick is very composed and does not get baffled by fast play or hard playing opponents, he continues to play with a calm and thoughtful mindset throughout the game. Nick also haws am impressive amount of ball skills and can comfortably receive and turn on the ball using a number of surfaces of his feet. It is good to see Nick developing his passing range and shooting ability too.
Devote more time to defending - Coaches will demand more and more defensively from all players on the field no matter what position they play! Learning defensive roles and responsibilities is key to playing at the next level.
Don’t be afraid to use your voice and express passion - Soccer is expected to be played with passion and coaches enjoy seeing players being vocal with their teammates on the field.
Work on aerobic fitness and sprint endurance - Soccer is a very tough sport and every little advantage goes a long way. Being able to run more during a game than your opponent before getting fatigue will help Nick make better ball playing decisions as the games go on.
